Endorsements

I have known and worked with Mike Marinaccio for many years. He is a great person to work with. He is the type of government official that wants to work with you, not against you, for the benefit of all Broome County residents. Mike has a proven record of hands-on service to his constituents and is keenly aware of the important issues facing Broome’s taxpayers.

Sheriff David E. Harder
Broome County Sheriff's Office

It is with a deep sense of responsibility and pleasure, that I announce my support of Michael Marinaccio in his run for Broome County Executive.

Michael has shown his leadership abilities as Supervisor of the Town of Dickinson, and also in his role as President and Vice President of the Broome County Association of Towns and Villages.

Supervisor Marinaccio is keenly aware of the issues facing the residents of Broome county, whether they live in Binghamton, Johnson City, Vestal, and Endicott, or reside as I do, in one of the many surrounding villages and towns. Michael Marinaccio has the experience and knowledge in working with, and listening to , both residents and leaders of Broome County, to find answers and solutions, that will benefit each and every one of us.

Edward A. Mosher
Supervisor, Town of Colesville

I am honored to be able to provide you my endorsement.

As a new Town Supervisor you went out of your way to make me feel comfortable, and included in the various meetings we attended. I have witnessed first hand your commitment to the municipalities of Broome County which is a direct commitment to the residents of Broome County.

I realized early on you are a person that is aware and proactive regarding the issues that affect each and every person in Broome County. Whether those issues stem from local, County, State, or even Federal levels you were willing to dig your heels in and do what is right for our constituents.

One such issue that is in the forefront is "Consolidation". You have been steadfast in your decisions on what consolidation makes sense for your municipality, while not just accepting it wholesale.

Another issue I recall your involvement in was the Sales Tax formula "re-calculation". This stood to hurt the municipalities financially. You, along with other Town Supervisors, met with County officials to work out a plan to help the County whilst having a defined exit strategy. This exit strategy was the only reason we were able to revert back to the original formula and regain the revenue stream we (all the Towns of Broome County) need.

I look forward to your tenure as County Executive, and I foresee good things for the County once you are sworn in.

Scott M. Ellis
Supervisor, Town of Nanticoke

It is a pleasure and an honor to offer my endorsement for Mike Marinaccio to run for Broome County Executive. I have known Mike for many years not only as the husband to my younger sister, but as a public servant coming to me for information or assistance in serving his community. I can readily attest to his honesty, family values, and dedication to serve his constituents.

Mike has a proven record of hands-on service having been directly involved in bringing in new businesses and opportunities in the Town of Dickinson. In his position as town supervisor, Mike has successfully balanced the needs of the community while encouraging economic growth. Mike brings to this race unequaled management experience from private industry, not-for-profit agencies, and the public sector. Mike understands business as well as government. His broad range of experience will serve Broome County well.

I am proud to endorse Mike Marinaccio as a candidate for Broome County Executive.

I have served as a Trustee and Mayor of the Village of Port Dickinson Board for 19 years and during this time I have worked with Town of Dickinson Supervisor Mike Marinaccio on repeated occasions. Mike has always been a tremendous resource and friend for our village and other municipalities. He is easily approachable, always interested in the community and in every single instance he is there to offer assistance, direction or a solution. Republicans all over the country are on the firing line this year. The public wants not just answers but results. I'm looking to you for both.

Mike Marinaccio is a levelheaded leader with strong work ethics who will make an exceptional County Executive!

It's with great pleasure that I whole heartily give my endorsement to Mike Marinaccio for Broome County Executive.

Mike will bring a breath of fresh air to the County Executives seat that we've been missing. Over the past few years I have worked with Mike in several different capacities and he has always been upbeat and willing to take on any challenges that come his way. Mike's strongest asset is the ability to listen, analyze the problem an move forward with the correct plan.

Myself, along with numerous other Town Supervisors are glad to support Mike and look forward to working with him in bringing Broome County back to our town residences where it belongs.

David Hamlin, Supervisor
